The Advancing the Hydrogen Economy Action Summit III and the 6th Annual Mountain States Hydrogen Business Council Hydrogen Implementation Conference were held September 13–15, 2010, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, at the Energy & Environmental Research Center. The event attracted over 100 attendees from 48 organizations, 18 states, the District of Columbia, and four Canadian provinces.

Topics discussed included hydrogen readiness, hydrogen from fossil fuels, producing hydrogen from renewable sources, hydrogen transportation, and the utilization and infrastructure for hydrogen. Attendees also explored how hydrogen technologies are advancing to provide energy solutions and create new economic opportunities.
