SALARY: $85,000 - $120,000

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Upon successful completion of the initial probation period, an employee may be eligible for a salary adjustment up to three percent. Pursue your dreams at the Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC), an international leader in energy and environmental research, conducting projects for clients from throughout the United States and the world. The EERC is looking for an experienced, aggressive, scientifically trained, market-oriented individual to enhance current research programs and build new programs. The essential functions of this senior-level position are to provide program management on projects with a dynamic, integrated, interdisciplinary research team of scientists and engineers involved in water resource-related research including water reclamation, water conservation, flood control and mitigation, climate change research, drought planning and mitigation, groundwater remediation, wastewater treatment, and hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; and to plan, develop, market, and conduct programmatic efforts in water resource-related research on a regional, national, and international scale. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a water resource related field. A minimum of 10 years experience in water resource management with a demonstrated track record of developing successful proposals, writing technical papers, and presenting research findings: and developing new business relationships or offerings and presenting business and financial results to investors and other stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and the ability to make sound business decisions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree and demonstrated experience in dealing with water management issues in the energy industry.
